It’s even better when you’re doing hard things with your friends!
There’s strength in the tribe. It makes it easier to push past our edge when we’re doing it with others.
I’ve always been passionate about creating community for us men to come together & do the work together. Pushing our limits together. Supporting each other through the tough times. Our threshold for challenge increases when we’re supporting each other.
When I lived in Austin, Tx I hosted a weekly mens group at the park. We would get together every Thursday for a workout. Once a month we would do ice baths.
I’ve since moved up to Columbus, Ohio to be closer to my family. And am starting to build a mens group here that meets up on Saturdays for big hikes/rucks.

My good friend Zach Homol and I have an online community called the “Do Hard Things - Fitness Group”.
We meet up for 2 group zoom calls per month. There’s a group chat where everyone is sharing their workouts each day. We have a number of in person meet ups per year where we get together to do hard things. Including a 100k (63 mile ruck) coming up in November.
